Modern Screen was a U.S movie fan magazine which started in November 1930 and only stopped publishing in 1985. It features stories and gossip about movies, actors, and actresses of the days of course but what I find most intriguing is the abundance of interesting ads which reflect the atmosphere of each period. Some not very politically correct.
